In premium economy class on British Airways, benefits include a larger, more comfortable seat, with additional legroom high quality entertainment through a larger seat back television, and good quality in flight catering.
The seat pitch in BA World Traveller Plus (the distance from the back of one seat to the back of the next) is an average of 38 inches (around 7 inches more than in economy class)- although this depends on the aircraft. Your seat will typically be around 18.5 inches wide and will recline by around 7 inches from vertical at the headrest. The Seat Back in premium economy class is 26.5 inches high - around 2 inches more than in regular economy.
There are 2 main aircraft that British Airways use on long haul flights: Boeing 747 and 777. On both types of aircraft, the World Traveller Plus Cabin is laid out in a 2-4-2 configuration across the plane. The cabin is much smaller than regular economy, having just 4 rows of seats on a 747, and 5 on a 777. This means that cabin crew can offer a more personal service, and the cabin is much quieter.
British Airways World Traveller plus baggage allowance is identical with that of regular economy class: up to 23kg on most routes, or 2 pieces of luggage up to 32KG each on some routes (mainly North America).
